Almost Finished

We finished the script for out video!  I still want to give it to somebody to proofread, but we will be ready to film by tomorrow.  Our progress was stalled slightly by the internet problems.  Emma couldn't even bring up our brochure on Word because it wouldn't connect.  That was frustrating.  However, it shouldn't be a major problem.  It shouldn't be a major project, unlike the video.  I plan on spending some time time tonight setting a few things situated, like the script.  Emma has been putting the actual video together (the graphics) while I write, playing on our strengths.  This has been working out very nicely, and we should have a great presentation.  I'm a little nervous on whether or not we can reach fifteen minutes, but I can't actually think of a reason as to why we wouldn't.  To the other groups reading this, good luck!

Completion

Today, my partner and I have finished up our budgeting and determined our final decisions on our absentee proposal.  We have a lot accomplished so far.  Now we just need to start on the visuals.  This should be interesting to see our different ideas play out.

Great Day!

Today was a pretty successful day!  We developed an exact and rather detailed budget for our daycare, and are almost half-way through with finishing the budget for our "Fun Stuff." So far we're well under the budget we set for ourselves.  Once we finish dealing with money,  I think we're going to start working on our video.  I'm not really sure if we will be able to get to it tomorrow with our presentations, but it should at least be in the high stages of planning by Friday.

Finalizing Our Ideas

Today, Kali and I plan on doing some intent research to give us new and creative ideas for the attendance problem.  We will do some independent research and them come together for collaboration and then make our final decision.  If you guys can give us some helpful ideas that would be great!(:

Great Start!

Our project proposal is finally finished! While confusing at times, it should definitely help us develop our plan of action.  I feel as if this project has had a great start, and if everything continues as planned, we should have a great product.  Today, we spent most of our time on the project proposal and now we are going to work on our blog some.  Our real work will begin Monday, as we plan on starting our serious research and creating our plan.  Hopefully we will finish everything by Monday of next week so that we can have the day before our presentation in order to practice.

Striving for a Productive Day

Today, my plan of attack is simple.  I plan to read over our project proposal that we have started.  We are almost completed with it, but still need to work out a couple little details.  I also plan to start researching some necessary details that we will need, and start thinking of some possible solution options.  There isn't too much to do, but it's as much as I can do for now.

Success!

I think we had a productive day!  Our group contract has been turned in, we created our blog, and our project proposal is almost completely finished.  Next steps will be to clean up the proposal, as we still have a couple of issues, and to begin our research.  I'm feeling very positive about this project right now; I personally believe that we can have an excellent final product if we continue as we are.  A couple of ideas are brewing, and I can't wait to play around with this blog some more and make it shine.  I'm a little annoyed because I won't be able to be in class tomorrow to work on this due to my Career Conference, but that shouldn't affect our progress at all.  If everything goes as planned, (which it never does, I'm afraid) this should be a great project to end the year with.
